Ian Walker is the man behind Northern Briars, a very talaneted artisan pipe maker, he makes some of the finest handmade pipes in England
Living on a traditional British narrow boat, I am amazed at how he manages to produce such wonderful pipes in such a small workshop, but that he does
He has a varied range to suit all pockets & while he mainly focuses on traditional shapes, he also makes some very attractive original pieces like the sea urchin ( one of my favorites )
If you do not own one of Ian's pipes, I can only say 'why not?'
